  • The Percy Faith Pages Bill Halvorsen met Percy Faith in the early 1970s and visited Percy’s home years after his death. If you have a few hours to spare, peruse his site which includes many photos, audios, videos, and other rare items such as Percy’s own "complete album list" (PDF file), which I used as the foundation for the discography on this site. Bill also hosts WQMR/WGAY Memories, where he learned a great deal of information about the station in the mid 1960’s which serves as the basis for the site. It was during these years that Bill first listened to monophonic WQMR which didn’t backtitle music played, but provided a wonderful station to learn artists, their styles and embellishments that make the site, including some great articles by Dick O’Conner, and the sounds you might have heard on the radio dial in that time period. It’s a great tribute to a station, it’s announcers and Ed Winton who originated the format. At this time all the media files are in the .wma (Windows) format.
  • The Percy Faith Discography, compiled by the late Alan Bunting . An essential companion to Bill’s site, Alan’s comprehensive discography provides more information than you’ll currently find here, including backings Columbia’s vocalists, catalog numbers from Europe and Japan, alternate versions of albums, etc.
Alan passed away on March 16, 2016 after a brief illness (read obituary). His website remained online for several years but was defunct by July 2021. I have archived his pages – without permission – within percyfaith.info as I feel he would have wanted his work preserved. Please note that his email address and certain external links may no longer function properly.
